After three years of lockdown and a ban on gatherings, the Sisters of Providence, Émilie-Gamelin Province, were happy to get together again with their collaborators and partners for an annual meeting. Nearly 85 people took part in the event at Carrefour Providence in Montreal on October 25.
The guest speaker was Donald Cuccioletta, historian and member of the Raoul-Dandurand Chair of Strategic and Diplomatic Studies at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
Following a word of welcome, and a time of reflection and prayer, Donald Cuccioletta’s talk entitled “The modern world in the 21st century: what world order?” touched on global events, strategies between certain countries and current events. He continued his presentation after the meal, and answered a number of questions from participants.
The evening was an opportunity to meet new people, engage in discussion and benefit from updates. Thanks to everyone who made this annual meeting a huge success.
