Do you want to participate in the Providence mission as a volunteer?
You can live an experience of compassion and solidarity with the Sisters of Providence by becoming a volunteer based on your abilities and availability. Regardless of your availability or the causes you care about, you can bring your gifts, talents, skills and experience to the service of the Providence mission.
How to go about it
As a volunteer, you can accompany a Sister of Providence in the exercise of her ministry or take part in activities of compassion in various places of engagement where the Sister of Providence have a presence, for example:
- Distribution of meals to street people
- Visits to inmates
- Visits to sisters or the elderly who are sick or experiencing loss of independence
- Involvement with community organizations
